The module is made of stainless steel, with 12.7 mm diameter tubular membranes inserted into 18 perforated support tubes and available as standard in lengths 3.66 m, 2.4 m and 1.2 m, providing membrane areas of 2.6 m 2 , 1.7 m 2 and 0.9 m 2 respectively.
B1 SERIES TUBULAR MEMBRANE – PARALLEL FLOW ARRANGEMENT (UF)
A third end cap arrangement is available that allows all 18 tubes to operate in parallel allowing the use of the highest cross flow rates with an acceptable pressure drop. This arrangement is only suitable for a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar, and the temperature limit for the B1 module is 80°C.
